Ethics of Maharana pratap

I have always a Great admirer of this thing that Rajput Kings may not have acquired big regions like others did. But when it comes to perform duty towards his people his friends and to respect women. You will always find that Raput warriors were ahead in that.

There is a saying that A Rajput can lay down his life but  can't back from his words. His words were the ultimate command for him there was nothing which could stop him for obeying his words.

Maharana Pratap was full of valor patriotism and ethics. Once Kabir khan the Foster brother advanced towards Pratap on the orders of Akbar, And his women crew fell in the hands of rajput warriors.

The women were taken to Pratap and when pratap learned about this he asked Rajputs to take them back respectfully and safely to their camp. When kabir Khan heard about this he gave of his idea of fighting against such noble king.

So Pratap did not won territories but the heart of enemy as well. where he could have taken the advantage by capuring women but he chose to stick to his ethics and considered it against the dharma. So in such situation where he had no money to buy weapons and to feed his family and army he chose to walk along side dharma. what example could be of ethics in the history other than this Rajput warrior.

He showed great respect towards others women and did not let any other to dishonor them  where it was tradition to dishonor the enemy women back then. But he did not do such heinous act. Maharana pratap has occupied a very high place along side Prithviraj chauhan who is the other example of courage valor in Rajput history. These two warrior are the most celebrated warriors in North India and lots of statues monuments Bus station etc has been named after these two brave rajput warriors.

Death Of Mahrana Pratap

Maharana pratap died of injuries he received whil hunting in the jungle and  his son Amar Singh was succeeded to throne. Amar singh has waged numerous war against mughals but later he submitted to mughals thus the era of rajput strrugle come to an end with this great rajput's death.
