Even after 68 years of independence a large part of our population of India is still struggling to get their bread. it makes me embarrassed to write that we are spending billions on arm purchasing to keep our border secured from our enemies which is important too, but we need to make our people's lives better 1st.
Most of the people has got nothing to do with the problems of india with pakistan as they are busy to get their meal.
Drought has caused havoc in India since long before Independence but till now it hasn't changed a lot.situation is pretty much same as farmer is still waiting for govt. to make necessary arrangements so they dont have to depend on rain only. But even after so much schemes and subsidies situation is still out of control.
who should we blame for it. every party make promises before election to help farmers but after election nothing is done.
as happened in maharashtra some wealthy people has come forward to help farmers, its a very noble step. I think this practice should be increased.
